Billing & Refund Policy

1. Subscription Plans

ProTrades offers three subscription plans, billed monthly or quarterly. Every plan includes every feature — estimating, AI, QuickBooks, Stripe, mobile, calendar. No add-ons.

Founding 100 pricing (first 100 shops, locked forever):

  • Solo: $29/month (1 user)
  • Crew: $69/month (2–5 users)
  • Shop: $129/month (5–10 users)

Public pricing (after Founding 100 closes):

  • Solo: $79/month (1 user)
  • Crew: $179/month (2–5 users)
  • Shop: $349/month (5–10 users)

Quarterly billing provides up to $240/year in savings compared to monthly billing.

2. Free 30-Day Trial

All new accounts start with a 30-day free trial with full access to your selected plan.

  • No credit card is required to start your trial.
  • You have full access to all features included in your selected plan during the trial.
  • We will send email reminders at 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day before your trial ends.
  • If you do not subscribe before the trial ends, your account will be paused (not deleted). Your data remains safe.
  • You can subscribe at any time to resume access.

3. Billing & Payment

All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically on the same day each month (or year for annual plans).
  • You will receive a receipt via email after each payment.
  • You can manage your subscription, update payment methods, and view invoices through the Stripe Customer Portal accessible from your account settings.

4. Plan Changes

You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account settings.

  • Upgrades: Take effect immediately. You will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period.
  • Downgrades: Take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You retain access to your current plan features until then.
  • Switching billing period: Changes between monthly and yearly billing take effect at the next renewal.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
  • You retain full access to ProTrades until your paid period ends.
  • After cancellation, your account will be paused. Your data is retained and you can resubscribe at any time to restore access.

6. Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will:

  • Notify you via email with instructions to update your payment method.
  • Attempt to retry the payment according to Stripe's retry schedule.
  • If payment continues to fail, your account will be paused until payment is resolved.

You can update your payment method at any time through your account settings to restore access.

7. Refunds

Because we offer a 30-day free trial, you have ample time to evaluate ProTrades before paying.

  • Refunds are generally not provided for subscription fees.
  • If you believe you were charged in error or experience a technical issue that prevented you from using the service, contact us at sabri@protrades.ai and we will review your request.
  • Refund requests are reviewed individually and granted at ProTrades' sole discretion.

8. Pricing

All prices are flat rates as displayed. ProTrades does not add taxes or additional fees to your subscription.

9. Pricing Changes

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. If we change pricing:

  • We will notify existing subscribers at least 30 days before the new pricing takes effect.
  • Price changes apply at your next renewal date after the notice period.
  • Founding Members (first 100 customers) have their original pricing locked in permanently and are not affected by future price increases.

10. Invoice Payment Processing Fees

When you use ProTrades to accept payments from your clients via Stripe Connect:

  • Stripe charges standard payment processing fees (typically 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction for cards) directly to your Stripe account.
  • ProTrades does not add any additional fees or markup to Stripe's processing fees.
  • You are responsible for any fees, chargebacks, or disputes related to payments you receive.
