Meet the Founder

Built by a tradesman,
for tradesmen.

I'm an electrical engineer turned contractor, running my family's electrical business in San Francisco. I built ProTrades because I needed it — and now I want to share it with shops like yours.

The Story

Why I built ProTrades and what it means for your shop.

My family has been running an electrical contracting business in the Bay Area for over 30 years. When I joined the business after working as an electrical engineer with project management experience, I quickly realized we were drowning in spreadsheets, paper proposals, and disconnected tools.

I looked at every software option out there. They were either too expensive, too complicated, or clearly built by people who had never stepped foot on a jobsite. So I decided to build something myself.

ProTrades started as an internal tool for our own shop. I built it to solve our specific problems: creating professional proposals quickly, tracking jobs without the headache, and staying organized. We use it every day to run our business.

Now I want to share it with other small trade shops who are facing the same challenges we did. ProTrades is built from real experience, designed for real workflows, and priced for real small businesses.
